Updating ideas in sketchbook today had a busy week ,visited York Quilt museum yesterday.Really interesting exhibition 'VOICES FROM INSIDE' Fine Cell Work is an organisation which helps in the rehabilitation of prisoners. Quilting and stitch is just a part of what they do with inmates, but the work is astounding and really proves the point I have been trying to make in my dissertation. 
I can see a strong resemblance to Mary's voice and expression in her samplers.  www.quiltmuseum.org.uk
